The Zonnetuin is part of the allotment complex A.T.V. de Rekere, on Helderseweg next to number 63, in Alkmaar. Aside from the open days, visits are by appointment only.

How to get there
By car: From the western ring road (Steve Bikoweg) take the Sluismolen exit at the golf course, then over the bridge (Koedijkervlotbrug). Then take your first right turn, and you’ll see the entrance to the complex in 300 meters.
By public transportation: From Alkmaar Central Station, take bus 151/157 (every half hour) to Voltastraat, cross the road and walk about 7 minutes along Helderseweg to the entrance of the allotment complex.
On foot from Alkmaar station: about 20 minutes’ walk. Exit the station to the left, at the end of Stationsweg turn left again, stay left on Helderseweg to the entrance of the allotment complex.
